2016 FINA WORLD CUP – SINGAPORE

The Singapore stop of the 2016 FINA World Cup series marked the start of the 3rd cluster, with some new faces joining the competition this time around. One of those faces was Australian Olympic champion Kyle Chalmers, who set a new Junior World Record with his 2nd place finish in the 100 free behind Russia’s Vlad Morozov. Chalmers came back the next day to win his first 2016 World Cup title in the 200 free.

The Ukraine’s Mykhailo Romanchuk set a new World Cup Record in Singapore, taking down the 100 free record previously owned by Italy’s Gregorio Paltrinieri.

Alia Atkinson posted some highlight performances on the women’s side, narrowly missing the World Records in the 50 breast and 100 breast. Katinka Hosszu also continued to impress with 9 individual golds throughout the meet.

Check out the action below, where we’ve included all of the race videos that have been uploaded to FINA’s YouTube channel. Some of the race videos haven’t been uploaded, but we’ll update with the videos as soon as they’re posted by FINA.
