Brendan Hansen, head coach of Austin Swim Club, held a ceremony on November 9, 2016 to honor his six seniors who had National Letters of Intent to sign. Hansen talked about the importance of NLI Signing Day for his club program. “I’ve gotta brag on my six seniors; they’re all going to schools they never thought they could go to, schools that they put on their list as juniors that were dream schools,” he says.
“This program is really designed to get these athletes to the next level,” he explains to the crowd gathered to watch the athletes sign their NLIs. He introduced each senior with his or her school; we’ve written the following articles about them:
