Watch: Northeast Conference Champions, CCSU’s Grind Video

“This video features the Central Connecticut State University Swimming & Diving team’s 24/7/365 grind and how much mental and physical toughness it takes to be a successful swimmer. Day in and day out, we grind harder than anyone else which has led us to be the Northeast Conference Champions back to back years in 2015 and 2016.”

Watch CCSU’s slick video, with footage and photos illustrating the work they put into their successful 2015-16 season, with an underlying audio track of the speech “The Grind.” The production came together through the use of design elements on Adobe AfterEffects, such as time remapping, 3D & kinetic type, expressions, transitions, blending modes, stop motion, and various video effects. It’s an excellent piece of work that takes the viewer on a journey with women’s team, reliving training trip, dryland work, dual meets, and finally, the NEC championships.
