GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) – In the final Atlantic Coast Conference weekly awards of the season, the Virginia swimming and diving team earned a sweep, as Zach Bunner was named Male Swimmer of the Week and Shannon Rauth was named Female Swimmer of the Week.

Virginia’s Bunner picked up two individual wins at the Cavalier Invite. The freshman from Marietta, Ga., won the 100 back in 48.09, the eighth-fastest time in the conference this year, and the 200 fly in 1:46.58, the 11th-fastest mark in the ACC. Both times that Bunner recorded were NCAA ‘B’ cuts.

Rauth picked up two individual wins at the Cavalier Invite this past weekend. The freshman from Glenmoore, Pa., won the 100 free in 49.48, the fifth-fastest time in the conference this year, and the 50 free in 22.96, the 11th-best mark in the ACC. Each of Rauth’s times were fast enough to earn NCAA ‘B’ cut standards.
