Virginia Freestyler Ryan Ulrich Commits to Towson Tigers

The Towson University women’s swimming and diving team has secured a commitment from Fredericksburg, Virginia’s Ryan Ulrich for 2015-16.

“I chose Towson because they offered everything I was looking for: respected academics, close proximity, a super competitive and enthusiastic team, and a competent coaching staff. I can’t wait to officially be a Towson Tiger!”

Ulrich swims for the Rappahannock Y Swim Team and Stafford Senior High School. At the 2014 Virginia 6A State Championships, Ulrich finaled in both the 50 and 100 freestyle events individually, and she anchored both Stafford’s medley and 400 free relays.

A YMCA Nationals qualifier, Ulrich’s best times are:

50m free: 28.31
100y free: 52.93
100m free: 1:01.30
200y free: 1:55.34
200m free: 2:13.28
