Louisville butterfly star Kelsi Worrell and her coach Arthur Albiero talked to SwimSwam Friday night after Worrell took home the NCAA runner-up spot in the 100 fly. Worrell discusses her preparation for the butterfly events, while Albiero talks about the rising Louisville program.

I think she’s the most likely candidate to break 50 before she’s done… she’s big… she’s strong… she’s got great underwaters… and she’s learning how to finish.
Only glaring issue is getting off the blocks. She’s usually the last one in the water in video I’ve seen.
100% true that she is the last one in….but she also has one the the fastest reaction times in the country. She hears it and moves…she just goes UP instead of forward….
Side note –
Hulk Swim and I talk just about everyday….it seems weird to be writing to each other on the comments section of swimswam….I hope this happens to other coaches too…..
