Cal coach Teri McKeever caught up with SwimSwam to recount her Golden Bear women’s 3rd place run this weekend, and to share a little more on her goals as a coach. Very healthy approach and philosophy that she has taken. I hope Teri can win a couple more trophies to validate the long term balance that she brings to the sport. Many swim observers will agree that the times, place and outcome of this year’s Cal team did not meet the expectations along with the talent that was expected of the 2013-14 Cal Bears. However, hopefully an internal examination can occur for some of the female swimmers in Berkeley and the outcomes can improve in future years.
