The Charlotte Observer caught up with SwimMAC Team Elite to talk about Ryan Lochte‘s love life. Lochte’s teammates, Cullen Jones and Kirsty Coventry, both had advice to offer to Lochte in his search for companionship. Cullen Jones joked with the reporter saying he is still looking for Ryan. When asked what kind of girl Ryan needs, Jones replied, “An understanding one.”
Ryan Lochte’s romantic life became very public following the 2012 Olympics. In his short-lived reality TV show, “What Would Ryan Lochte Do?”, viewers were able to watch the ups and downs of his relationship with Jamiee Hollier.
Lochte recently told the Charlotte Observer:
“No, there is no girlfriend. I am still single, looking for that one”
I think that his best friend Cullen Jones was doing some friendly ribbing of Ryan Lochte in that video. They seem to laugh and joke around a lot with each other. I feel that Lochte will settle down when he is ready and not before. Most likely after Rio 2016

I like Ryan Lochte mostly because he was the underdog to Phelps for so long. I have read an article saying that Lochte is stupid because he is bad on interviews, living in a condo, playing a sport nobody cares about outside the Olympics, and many other things. sometimes journalists are too harsh on celebrities and I would not call stupid someone who managed to earn millions of dollars in a sport “nobody cares about outside the Olympics”
Tip on being single…it’s so many out there don’t rush…you’ll find the right one just don’t let her pick you…you pick her!!

Maybe Ryan is waiting for polygamy. ‘Get me a beer & a sammich ‘ will no longer be a sign of a brute but a man offering choice .
Ryan did a clinic for our team last year with all the proceeds going to programs to combat drowning. I have had other Olympians do clinics and they were good but ryan was outstanding. He was humble, articulate and willing to do anything we needed. No ego and he was so welcoming and appreciative to his fans. He actually asked that he be given more time to sign autographs. He’s the best!
This is a truly awesome and fun video. Whatever your opinion is of him…nobody else would get this video up on swimswam. He is a funny guy. He has plenty of public faults – but being funny is not one of them 🙂
From what I can tell, he still enjoys playing the field too much to find the one. Maybe he’s starting to change a bit though as most of his peers settle down. Best of luck in your search Ryan!
