Vermont Announces 2015-16 Women’s Swimming & Diving Schedule

BURLINGTON, Vt. – The University of Vermont women’s swimming and diving program unveiled its schedule today. The Catamounts will compete in eight meets, including four at home, as well as three other invitational meets in 2015-16.

Vermont opens the year at Binghamton for a tri-meet against the Bearcats and Army West Point on October 10. UVM’s first home meet of the year is scheduled for October 31 versus Siena at Forbush Natatorium.

The Catamounts will host Maine (Nov. 7) and Bryant  (Nov. 15) while traveling to Central Connecticut on November 14.

UVM will compete in the Boston Invitational November 20-22 and will wrap up the fall semester at the AT&T Winter National Championships in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Vermont returns home to host Northeastern to open up 2016 on January 18 and will compete in the Middlebury Invitational on January 29-30.

The America East Championships return to Worcester Polytechnic Institute and are slated for February 11-14. UVM finished a program-best third last season and Maggie Preston became the first Catamount to be named the America East Most Outstanding Diver last year.

Vermont closes out the year with the ECAC Championships in Annapolis, Maryland on February 26-28 and the NCAA Championships are set for March 17-19 at Georgia Tech.

All Vermont home meets will be streamed live via the America East Digital Network. The streams can be accessed on desktop and laptop computers and mobile devices.
