USA Men’s Water Polo Returns To Competition This Friday In Tokyo

Tokyo, Japan – December 8 – Dejan Udovicic and the USA Men’s Senior National Team have arrived in Tokyo, Japan for common training ahead of an exhibition match on Friday evening with the Japanese Men’s National Team. The match, dubbed as the “Japan Water Polo Challenge 2015,” will serve as a warm-up for Japan as they prepare for an Olympic qualification opportunity at the upcoming Asian Games. 2012 Olympian John Mann (Newport Beach, CA/California/NYAC) leads Team USA into action in what is expected to be an exciting atmosphere featuring dignitaries from both countries and a capacity crowd.

For the USA Men this is their first official match since defeating Australia to conclude the 2015 FINA World Championship this past August in Russia. The match is the first of three competitions for Team USA as they welcome Croatia to Southern California for matches on December 17 (CdM HS), and December 20 (USC). Tickets for both of those games are on sale by clicking here.

See below for a complete USA Roster. Team USA has already qualified for the 2016 Olympic Games following their gold medal performance at the 2015 Pan American Games.
