Canada will be competing in 12 sports, including women’s water polo, at the 2019 FISU Summer Universiade in Naples, Italy.
The World University Games are hosted every two years. This year’s event will take place July 2-14.
Women’s water polo was first contested at the World University Games in 2009.
MAAC Offensive Player of the Year Erica Hardy, who earned honorable mention All-American honors at Wagner, headlines the 2019 Canadian World University Games roster.
The players represent 11 colleges/universities, including two in Canada.
