The 2017 Women’s NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships continue this morning with prelims of the 400 IM, 100 fly, 200 free, 100 breast, 100 back, 200 medley relay, and 3-meter diving.
Tonight’s competition includes the finals of the 200 free relay, 500 free, 200 IM, 50 free, 400 medley relay, and 1-meter diving.
Weitzeil was a part of Cal’s 800 free relay at Pac-12s, but they swapped her out for Kristen Vredeveld at NCAAs. This could be because she’s more valuable on the other relays, but it’s noteworthy because of her health issues following the 200 free at Pac-12s.

2012 Olympian Breeja Larson won three events in front of a home crowd to highlight the College Station Speedo Sectional meet. Larson has stayed busy as she continues her pro career. Now competing for NYAC, she won three events. Larson was 57.91 to win the 100 breast, 2:04.71 for the 200 breast title and 49.74 to take the 100 freestyle.
NCAA 100 fly runner-up Sarah Gibson appears in just two individual events on the NCAA pre-cut psych sheets, evidence that she will perhaps swim 5 relays for Texas A&M.
