We are all trying to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic as best we can. Staying at home and not socializing is not an easy task for anyone, and keeping a swimmer out of the pool is equally antagonizing. Therefore, SwimSwam is starting the Swimming From Home Talk Show, where host Coleman Hodges speaks with the swimming community about how they’re coping with our current goggle-less reality.
Madisyn Cox is at home with her parents (and Dean Farris) in Lubbock, Texas. She admits that while she was thrown for a pretty big loop when the Olympics were postponed, having to decide if she wanted to keep swimming another year and try to defer medical school, she is now doing much better. The whole Cox crew has been enjoying pickleball in their driveway, and Cox even admits she can get too upset if she loses. However, she also says that she’s been working on meditation, mostly guided sessions from different apps, which has helped her not ride the emotional roller coaster too much that has been caused by this COVID-19 quarantine.
This is my favorite one so far. You go, Madisyn.
Dean next please!!!
Dean living with Madisyn’s family is the biggest thing to hit Lubbock since Buddy Holly.
I thought it was the water.

That’s a legandary quarantine right there
Awesome interview – so great to hear more about Madisyn.
