Swim Job: Hudson Explorers Aquatic Team seeks Swim Coach

JOB DESCRIPTION

Hudson Explorers Aquatic Team (HEAT), a year round USA Swim club that is a 3 year Bronze Medal Club, is seeking an individual who is passionate and highly motivated to lead a growing age group program.

ABOUT HUDSON EXPLORERS AQUATIC TEAM

Hudson Explorers Aquatic Team, HEAT logoHEAT has 250+ members and is one of the top clubs in the Lake Erie LSC. The club has swimmers ranging from beginners to Olympic Trials qualifiers and even a member of the USA Swimming National Jr Team. HEAT is a part of the Hudson City School District and pay is based on experience and qualifications.
Hudson City Schools is one of the top rated public school districts in Ohio and in the United States.

REQUIREMENTS

A candidate must be a positive person, a role model to student athletes and well-organized. A candidate must also be willing to work cooperatively with others and value a team concept. A competitive swimming background and coaching experience of at least 3 years is preferred, along with an extensive understanding of swimmer development and stroke technique. In addition, a candidate must hold USA Swimming certifications. .

REQUIRED

  • 3 + years of experience as a USA Swim coach
  • USA Swimming certifications
  • Positive and well-organized
  • Extensive understanding of swimmer development and stroke technique
  • A team leader and ones that values the team concept
