JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the direction of the Aquatics Swim Team Coordinator, the successful candidate will direct a training group for Dublin Community Swim Team.
The Lead Coach will actively teach and coach group members and run all necessary dry land activities; assist in coordinating the activities of the Dublin Sea Dragons Boosters; and, develop an age appropriate seasonal plan that emphasizes team philosophy.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent certificate
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Current certification in American Red Cross CPR/AED
- Current certification in American Red Cross Life Guarding or Coach’s Safety Training
- 2 or more years of prior experience coaching swimming at a USA or YMCA member club
- Completed Fundamentals of Coaching 201
- A strong desire to work with swimmers and help them achieve their goals in the sport
- Must be flexible with scheduling and work hours that match the groups swimming schedule
Preferred Qualifications: American Swim Coaches Association Level I preferred
