JOB DESCRIPTION

The College of William & Mary (NCAA Division I), is seeking qualified applicants to apply for a position as an assistant swimming coach. This position will help provide the leadership and direction for a highly competitive athletic program, maintain a balance with academic excellence and uphold the standards of the College and the Athletic Department.

Bachelor’s degree and significant or extensive professional level of experience or specialized expertise.

• Skills or competencies related to the sport.
• Previous playing and/or coaching experience of the sport
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven leadership abilities through prior collegiate playing and/or coaching experience.
• Attention to detail.
• Demonstrated abilities to lead small and large group discussions.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to utilize the latest advances in technology.
• Yearly completion of NCAA compliance certification.
• CPR Certification, or completed within 6 months of employment.
