Sprinter Madison Ledwith Verbally Commits to In-state Nittany Lions

Madison Ledwith, a rising senior at Conestoga High School in Berwyn, Pennsylvania, has made a verbal commitment to swim for Pennsylvania State University in the class of 2022.

Ledwith took seventh in the 100 free (51.68) and 11th in the 100 fly (56.39) at the 2017 PIAA Girls AAA Swimming & Diving Championships. She also anchored the state-champion 200 free relay and third-place 400 free relay. Ledwith is an All-American, 3x All-State, 3x All-District, and 3x All Main-Line honoree, and qualifies this year for the USA Swimming Scholastic All-America Team.

Swimming for Radnor Aquatic Club, Ledwith competed at 2016 Winter Juniors in the 50/100 free and 100 fly. Most recently she swam the 50/100m free and 100m fly at the Arena Pro Swim Series Mesa, and again at the Mid Atlantic LSC Long Course Senior Championships, where she finished 3rd in the 100 fly, 4th in the 100 free, and 5th in the 50 free.
