Sonia Wang at CIF: “Having a Team Behind You Really Makes You Swim Faster”

SwimSwam’s Anne Lepesant caught up with Upland junior Sonia Wang at CIF-SS Division 2 finals in Riverside, CA. Wang won the 200 IM and the 100 back, breaking the D2 record in the latter with a 53.77.

Wang talked about high school swimming and the fun she has had being part of Upland’s team: “Having a team behind you really makes you swim faster and makes you more motivated.” She also mentioned what’s coming up for her this summer.
