In connection with the emerging news today concerning Yulia Efimova, Russian Swimming Federation informs the public that it did receive from FINA documents relating to her professional activities, which are confidential. These documents were then submitted to the athlete (Efimova). Any speculation from unreliable sources on the content of this document is considered unacceptable at this stage. Given the above, the Russian Swimming Federation urges media not to pursue a rumor, as this may cause irreparable damage to the athlete.
