Cleveland State senior diver Danny Roberts earned Horizon League Diver of the Week honors last week for his performance against Gannon.
Roberts, a Fairview, Pa. native, has been a mainstay on the dive board for the Vikings, recording a first-place finish in both the 1M and 3M dives in both meets this season.
One of several Vikings that finished atop the competition against Gannon, Roberts posted a score of 290.25 in the 1M dive and 315.90 in the 3M, leading CSU to a 158-68 win and improving the team’s record to 2-1.
The swimming and diving teams will have a week off before returning to competition next weekend when the women host Marshall on Friday (Nov. 6) and both teams host Marshall and St. Bonaventure on Saturday (Nov. 7) at 1:00 p.m.
