Public Service Announcement: Entries For 2014 Junior Nationals Close Monday Night

A friendly reminder to all coaches that entries close tonight, Monday, July 21st, ad 11:59 Mountain Daylight Savings Time.

Coaches who have yet to make their entries can do so at www.usaswimming.org/ome.

Remember that all athletes must be 18 or younger on the first day of the meet, and that foreign athletes who are registered members of USA Swimming clubs can compete. Payment can be made online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover, with fees of $15 for each individual event, $30 for each relay event, and $20 per credentialed coach.

After tonight’s deadline, any swimmer with a new swim (from July 22nd through July 27th) can still swim at the meet, but entries will be closed to all qualifiers from prior to the deadline. The OME will have a separate entry field for those new qualifiers: “2014 Junior Nationals: New Qualifying Swims.” New swims cannot, however, be used to improve seed times of another entry. These entries have the normal fees associated with them.

If you miss the deadline tonight, you can still enter in the meet, however the fees skyrocket. Each team or athlete must pay a one-time processing fee of $150.00, plus pay $30 per individual event and $50 per relay event.

Swimmers can only swim 3 events per day, including time trials.

Team scores will be kept.

All relays will be swum as timed finals, only in the evening.

The 400 free and 400 IM events will be flighted.

A full meet schedule, entry times, and other entry information can be found here.
