President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama to Host U.S. Olympians at the White House

On Thursday, April 3, 2014, President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama will host members of the United States Olympic and Paralympic teams and delegations at the White House.

The President will congratulate the Olympians and Paralympians on their performance and thank them for representing the United States during the 2014 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia.

This event will be held in the afternoon of Thursday, April 3, 2014.  Specific timing and additional details about  attendees will be released at a later date.

MEDIA REGISTRATION: The President’s afternoon remarks will be open press.  Media wishing to cover this event must RSVP. Press holding White House hard passes must send their name, media outlet, phone, and email, to [email protected], byWednesday, April 2, 2014 at 12:00PM ET, with the subject line “Olympics Event.”  Press not holding White House hard passes must include their full legal name, date of birth, Social Security number, gender, country of citizenship, and current city and state of residence. All press will enter the White House at the Northwest Gate.  Confirmations will only go out after the deadline has passed.
