The Pac 12 Networks have released their full lineup of televised swimming for the 2013-2014 season, which will present by far the most extensive live coverage of college swimming the NCAA has ever seen.

In total, 8 of the 9 programs in the Pac 12 that support men’s and/or women’s swimming & diving will take part in a dual meet that will be aired on the Pac 12 Networks. The big draw for the network, which is available on almost every national cable and satellite service (DirecTV being the major exception), is clear: the Cal Bears, who are heavily in the NCAA Championship conversation, and Olympic darling Missy Franklin. Cal is involved in 5 of the 9 televised dual meets, with Franklin swimming at 4 of the 9.

Their bay area rivals Stanford, and UCLA in the massive Los Angeles market, will also be frequently featured. Expect USC to get more attention in future years, but with the uncertainty factor surrounding the completion of the beautiful renovations to the Uytengsu Swim Center, the network probably shied away from making any strict plans there.

Total times on air:

Arizona (2)
Arizona State (1)
UCLA (W) (4)
Oregon State (W) (1)
Stanford (3)
Cal (5)
USC (1)
Utah (1)

And then, of course, all of the conference’s programs will be included in the airing of the Pac 12 Championships in late February and March.
