Following team wins over University of Chicago, UIC, and Denison, Northwestern swept the Big Ten weekly honors. Swimmer of the week went to junior Andy Jovanovic. He won the 100 back (50.60), 100 free (46.43) and 100 fly (50.21). Diver of the week went to Andrew Cramer, who swept the springboard events. After winning the 500 free (4:38.89) and 1,000 free, (9:26.97), Carter Page earned freshman of the week.
Swimmer of the Week
Andy Jovanovic, Northwestern
Jr. – Chicago, Ill. – Loyola Academy
- Collected three first-place finishes and added a second-place tally in Northwestern’s trio of wins over University of Chicago, UIC and Denison
- Finished first in the 100-yard backstroke (50.60), 100-yard freestyle (46.43) and 100-yard butterfly (50.21)
- Contributed to a second-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay (1:34.33)
- Earns his first career Swimmer of the Week honor

Diver of the Week

- Swept the springboard diving events, scoring 301.05 points in the one-meter event and 331.05 points in the three-meter event
- Posted NCAA Zone qualifying marks in both events
- Earns his second Diver of the Week award

Freshman of the Week

- Collected two first-place finishes and added a fifth-place touch in Northwestern’s dual meet wins
- Finished first in the 500-yard freestyle (4:38.89) and 1,000-yard freestyle (9:26.97)
- Recorded a fifth-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly (1:58.03)
- Earns his first career Freshman of the Week honor
