Hartland Arrowhead and Madison Edgewood remained in the #1 positions in Wisconsin’s high school swimming rankings as 8 top-ranked teams did not change order.
Things are steady as can be in Division 1, for the state’s big schools. There, Arrowhead sits #1 for the sixth-consecutive week, and the entire top 5 did not change from a week ago.
Middleton is second, Verona third and Cedarburg fourth, with Madison West rounding out the top 5 in its same spot from last week.
On the recruiting front, Verona senior Beata Nelson remains uncommitted to any school. Nelson is the #2 recruit in the nation and one of just two top-20 names to not yet publicly pick a school.
In Division 2, Edgewood stays on top for the fourth week in a row after a big win at the Small School State Invite. There, Edgewood topped #2 McFarland and #3 Grafton in a battle of the likely top teams in the Division 2 state meet.

The WISCA (Wisconsin Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association) rankings are based entirely off of the state’s database of top times. The top 30 times in each event earn points for their team, #1 earning 30, #2 29, #3 28 and so on down to #30 earning 1. Relay rankings are worth double points.
