Nadadores Welcome Special Olympic Swimmers with SMOC Towels

The City of Mission Viejo is hosting delegations from Spain and Indonesia for the Special Olympics World Summer Games to be held in Los Angeles July 25 through August 2.

The Mission Viejo Nadadores are honored to be sharing the Marguerite Aquatics Complex with the remarkable swimmers from these two countries as they conduct their final preparations for competition.

The Nadadores 9-10 year-old swimmers welcomed the Special Olympic swimmers with towels from the 2015 TYR Fran Crippen Memorial Swim Meet of Champions.

According to Nadadores Office Manager, Ruby Hunter, “The visiting athletes were thrilled with the towels.” SMOC towels are a highly prized item in the swimming community.

Additionally, each of the young Nadadores swimmers wished each of the Olympians “good luck” as they prepare for their competition.
