COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Swimming is proud to introduce a merchandise relief program to benefit National Team athletes.

With the support of key partners, including Swim Outlet, Match-Up, Speedo and Swaponz, USA Swimming will sell apparel, towels, stickers and water bottles branded with the recently designed “2021 – We’ll be ready” logo with 100% of the proceeds going to support National Team athletes. The entire product line can be viewed here.

With the Olympic Games now moved to July 2021, National Team athletes face the unexpected challenge and financial burden of continuing to train for an additional year to fulfill their dreams. With the loss of key competitions throughout 2020 and reduced training and revenue-generating opportunities, this product line was created as a means for the membership to support their U.S. Olympic hopefuls.

“USA Swimming is excited to offer this collection of fan gear to honor the athletes training for Tokyo,” Chief Commercial Officer for USA Swimming Shana Ferguson said. “Support for our athletes comes in many forms, and this merchandise gives the swimming community a chance to show their pride in our Nation Team. Fans who purchase this gear can feel good knowing the proceeds go directly to the athletes whose training has been disrupted and rerouted in 2020.”

Items will be available for purchase starting May 5 online at SwimOutlet.com or usaswimming.org.

Going to be tough to raise money with the current shape of economy. People are sending their donation money to food banks and charities with more pressing needs.

Great idea & cool shirts, but how many people are going to dish out $27.95 with the massive unemployment right now?
