I really wish to comment about how pleasing to the eyes she is but in this day and age of PCness and digital documentation of everything I don’t want to risk ruining my future employment prospects. It will have to stay a wish.
I remember Federica Pellegrini was suggested having a statuesque body during her appearance in London. I believe it’s safe to apply it also to Megan Romano.

Hey guys, I know this may not be the right place to ask, but where do you all submit your picks for BCN 2013 ? Is there a certain site for it or do you all just write it down for yourselfs ? Greets from Germany
Don’t you think that at age 22 she is getting a little old for the female swimming world? that it is a little late for her to make a huge difference in the swimming world? She might have Rio in her but no more olympics afterwards.
It may depend on an event. Sprint events might be more suitable for older persons due to the benefits of being strong to some extent unlike in longer distances in which being muscular is more detrimental to your endurance. As we know, acquiring strength takes its time and is connected with your physical development which hopefully gives adults a slight advantage over teenagers in the world of sprint swimming.
We have a nice bunch of indicators that experienced swimmers have a future in female swimming, I mean, Torres, Alshammar, Coughlin etc etc.

How old is she?
Has she ever represented USA in individual events?
You don’t have internet? Do you know google?
Miss Romano is a 22-year-old girl and has never represented USA on individual or on relays in LCM at the world championships or at the olympic games. She has represented USA at the last short course world championships in Istanbul in the 100 free. She has finished second behind Britta Steffen. She’s a tall girl, 6’2” or 1m88.
And her 52.90 split isn’t surprising at all. In NCAA as well she’s generally much faster in relays. She looks transcended in relays. A perfect team player.
What? Favorite girl? Too funny to read!
Seriously, I talk about her for 1 or 2 years because she has a big potential in the 100 free and I didn’t understand what she did on backstroke.
I like your smileys but it doesn’t work for me. I don’t know how to do it. I’m sad not to post sometimes these little things. I have a French flag which could be useful during the world championships!
MEL STEWART Jr., aka Gold Medal Mel, won three Olympic medals at the 1992 Olympic Games. Mel's best event was the 200 butterfly. He is a former World, American, and NCAA Record holder in the 200 butterfly.
As a writer/producer and sports columnist, Mel has contributed to Yahoo Sports, Universal Sports, …

Haha… while Bobo has no qualms over such silly PCness..
She is absolutely stunning.
GOOD GENES!

Leclave – we will have a site where you put them in online as soon as the start lists are released.

I asked because I expected you to answer because I know she is your favorite girl 🙂
your answer is more concise and has nuances.
Ah, so Barcelona will be her first major championships. Good luck to her!
Hahaha.
Tall and strong-looking. Bobo was right about her abilities in relays. That inside 53 was totally out of my expectations.

And yes she’s tall which can sometimes help in swimming.
Being tall sometimes helps in swimming? All else being equal I would say ALL the time.
Bobo do You ever sleep ? 😀
