McCrory Garners Fourth ACC Weekly Honor

Senior Nick McCrory was selected the ACC Male Diver of the Week for the fourth time this season Tuesday, Jan. 14 following a strong showing over the weekend against South Carolina.

McCrory, who remains undefeated on the season across the three diving disciplines, swept the men’s 1-meter and 3-meter springboard events Jan. 11 in a dual meet against the Gamecocks in Columbia, S.C. He started the afternoon with a first-place finish on the 1-meter board, posting an NCAA Zone Diving Championships qualifying score of 379.27. He also turned in a first-place performance at the 3-meter height, collecting a Zones qualifying mark of 435.28.

The Duke men and women return home Friday, Jan. 24 to host ACC opponent Virginia in a dual meet at Taishoff Aquatic Pavilion.
