This financial incentive will give swimmers a little bit of extra motivation to perform at their best in London during a year where the main focus of every competitive swimmer is their respective Olympic Trials and the Olympic Games.
The European Championships have already started this morning with the first preliminary session, and finals begin at 6 PM London time and 1 PM Eastern. The meet will run through until Sunday May 22nd.
