Leah Hayes has Raised the Intensity of her Training and Started Weight Lifting

In front of a home crowd, high school senior Leah Hayes took the win in the 400 IM at the Pro Swim Series stop in Westmont. Hayes spoke with SwimSwam after about the gains she’s made in training, specifically upping the intensity of her water workouts and adding weight lifting and dryland.

Talented young swimmer that should have a bright future if she stays healthy. Interested to see how the 200IM shapes up at the US trials with Leah, Kate and Alex battling it out.
