The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of USA Swim Coaching experience at the Head Age Group coach level or above. 5+ years of experience as a lead coach with proven parent/swimmer communication skills will also be accepted. Candidate must be current in all USA Swimming certifications and background checks prior to applying. Candidate must be willing to relocate to Gainesville, Florida prior to August 14, 2024.
Day to Day role will be to help facilitate Club Admin duties such as new swimmer on boarding, recruitment and retention, facility and staff scheduling, as well as coach Senior AM practices and our Senior 2 afternoon practices. Hours will require midday office hours 2-3 days per week as well as work from home 2-3 days per week. Meets will be required, usually 1 per month. Gator Swim Club reimburses all meet related expenses such as lodging, mileage, meals.
The position will report directly to the Head Coach. There will be overlap in group responsibilities with the other two senior coaches on staff currently. The Senior Program will be lead by 4 coaches, three already on staff, and the candidate will have to be willing to work within the Gator Swim Club practice model.
Gator Swim Club is a Silver Medel club and a perennial member of the Club Excellence Program. We are a partner with SwimStrong Dryland for all of our group dryland programs and the candidate will be required to help administer dryland to their practice group as programed by SwimStrong.

Starting salary compensation will be $40,000 plus a bonus structure based upon team performance, retention, and growth.
