Richmond, Va. – James Madison senior diver Emily Gross has been named Colonial Athletic Association Women’s Diver of the Week after her stellar performance in the dual meet against Delaware, as announced by the conference on Wednesday afternoon.
Gross helped James Madison win their second consecutive dual meet this season with her two individual victories on the 1-meter and 3-meter events. The senior diver produced NCAA Zone Qualifying scores on both events 293.25 on 3-meter and 275.35 on 1-meter.
Gross and JMU diving will welcome Davidson, George Mason, George Washington, Richmond and Towson to Savage Natatorium on Feb. 27 for the Duke Dog Diving Invite while JMU swim travels to the Liberty Last Chance Meet on Feb. 27-28.
