What’s harder? 1000-200-500 fr or 1000-200fly-500? We oughta get a SS poll…

For women I’d say the latter because of the men’s 1000 after the women’s gives some recovery and the 200 FR isn’t as hard as a 200 FL. For men, the 1000 into the 200 FR with only a women’s 200 in-between makes that worse to me.

that mens’ 1000-200 double is a different level of pain. Did it once, close race in the 1000, got back on the block for the 200 with my heart rate still at race pace, didn’t even break 2 on the 200. Totally embarrassing, got texts from people watching the meet asking if I was okay or if I had some sort of medical episode during the race. Sat next to the warmdown pool for about 10 minutes wondering what decisions I made wrong in my life to lead me to the point where I was a mid distance freestyler. Respects to anyone who manages to pull it off.
