In final pre-race interviews with the Dubai Sports Council before the 2013 FINA World Cup stop in Dubai, Katinka Hosszu talked about the process of transitioning from Worlds and the World Cups right afterward, where she was so good and broke many World Records, to this new cluster of events that is effectively the beginning of a new season.
Hosszu isn’t swimming the 400 IM in Dubai, but she is swimming 10 individual events over two days.
