Hardcoreswim Partners with Olympian Tony Azevedo To Dive Deeply into Water Polo And Launch HardCorePolo Division

HardCoreSwim, Inc., a Southern California custom swimsuit company, has joined forces with 4-time Olympian Tony Azevedo to formally launch its HardCorePolo division, dedicated to the advancement and promotion of Water Polo by providing teams worldwide with superior custom water polo suits and water polo caps, all made in the USA. As brand ambassador for HardCorePolo, Tony will not only have the opportunity to test the suits and caps under the toughest conditions in the world, but will also lend his expertise towards the continued development of the best suits and caps in the sport.

Tony’s legendary accomplishments in the sport of Water Polo speak for themselves:  4-time Olympian for Team USA (and a 2016 Olympic Hopeful in his Brazilian birthplace), 4-time Cutino Award Winner as College Player of the Year, First Team All American at Stanford University 2001-2004, 4-time American Water Polo Coaches Association Player of the Year, NCAA Tournament Player of the Year 2001, 2002, 2003, 3-time USOC Athlete of the Year. He has also played professionally in Italy, Croatia, Montenegro, and Brazil.

It is a violent sport and they should not be calling everything. In Serbia, there is no call unless you lose your leg. 🙂
By the way, in light of “Serbian Day on SwimSwam” – USA national waterpolo coach is a Serb, Dejan Udovicic.

I played the game. Water polo has a better chance becoming more a mainstream sport IF they can fix the fouling & turn-over rules. The referee blows the blasted whistle non-stop! The average spectator doesn’t know what the heck is going on. Super annoying.
