Greater Tampa Swim Association Breaks Florida 13-14 Medley Relay Mark

The 13-14 girls from the Greater Tampa Swim Association have broken the 200 yard medley relay state record for the 13-14 age group. The team of Reagan FlynnCarin SanchezElla Marlow, and Ella Bathurst combined for a 1:47.28 at the GTSA Speedo Swim Classic meet this past weekend in Tampa. That both breaks the Florida Swimming LSC record of 1:48.03 and is faster than the Florida Gold Coast Swimming LSC record, making it a true ‘state record’ of sorts.

Splits:

  • Flynn – 27.17
  • Sanchez – 31.95
  • Marlow – 24.74
  • Bathurst – 23.42

The relay includes Ella Marlow, who previously was a National Age Group Record holder int he 11-12 50 LCM fly.

The record they broke belonged to a 2015 Gator Swim Club relay that included current USA National Junior Team member Isabel Ivey.
