Mollie Brackett of Appleton North High School and Fox Valley Wave Swim Team in Appleton, Wisconsin, has finalized her college decision and made a verbal commitment to swim for Ohio University in the fall of 2020. A butterfly and backstroke dual-threat, Brackett’s career-best times in the 100-yard backstroke and butterfly are both under a second off of what it took to score points for the Bobcats at the 2019 Mid-American Conference Championship meet.
Brackett was the 8th place finisher in the 100 LCM freestyle (1:00.63) at the 2019 Wisconsin Swimming 13 & Over Long Course State Championship meet in August and took 9th place in the 50 yard freestyle (24.09) and 10th in the 100 yard butterfly (57.25) at the Wisconsin Swimming 13 & Over Short Course State Championship meet back in March.

- 100 back – 57.22
- 100 fly – 56.63
- 50 free – 24.06
- 100 free – 52.40
- 200 free – 1:53.69
While Brackett is just off of the times that it took to score individually for the Bobcats at the conference level, Courtney Perrett’s 23.63 with a rolling start on their 200 free relay at the 2019 MAC Championships could be an opening for Brackett to help contribute on that relay. She will join fellow backstrokers Gabrielle Brust and Abbie Duncan, as well as Olivia Morlok, Meggie Voigt, and Caroline Dunigan as members of the class of 2024.
