I heard about this drill first time from Cole Cragin few months ago. This drill and pulling the block up and forward at the start before diving improved our sons reaction time significantly. It is astonishing how many swimmers at the College level (I observed many at the UT Georgia meet last week) still bends their arms and gets too low at the start. All wrong.
