Nicole Salladin, a current high school senior from Yorba Linda, CA, has committed to swim for D1 New Mexico State University. Salladin will graduate from Esperanza High School in May 2020 and will join New Mexico State’s class of 2024 under head coach Rick Pratt.
Salladin currently swims for the La Mirada Armada swim team. This summer, she competed at USA Swimming Futures Championships in Mt Hood in the 800 freestyle. There she placed 6th with a time of 9:03.95 LCM.

With her current best times, Salladin would have placed 6th in the 1,650 freestyle (16:56.02) and 10th in the 500 freestyle (4:57.55) at this year’s WAC Conference Championships with NMSU.
Salladin will begin her swimming career at New Mexico State beginning fall 2020.

Nicole’s older sister Cathryn swims at Alabama, and all 3 Saladin siblings (including brother Andrew) are also accomplished pianists. Nicole, for her part, has performed as a solo pianist with Mexico City’s Youth Symphony Orchestra, among several other youth symphonies internationally.
