Zoe Barclay and Maja Palmroos are current high school seniors who have committed to swim for the Denison University Big Red beginning in fall 2021. They will be joining the Big Red’s class of 2025.
Zoe Barclay
Zoe Barclay is from Dayton, Ohio and is a current swimmer for the Dayton Raiders.
At the 2019 Central District Sectionals – Centerville, Barclay placed 2nd in the 100 breaststroke (1:08.24) and 4th in the 200 IM (2:17.93). She is also a Sectionals qualifier.

With her current best times, Barclay would have placed 5th in the 200 breaststroke (2:22.97) and 7th in the 100 breaststroke (1:05.35) at the 2020 NCAC Championships with the Big Red.

Maja Palmroos
Palmroos is a current swimmer for Team Elite in San Diego, CA where she is a Sectionals and Futures qualifier.
At the 2019 Speedo Champions Series – East Los Angeles, Palmroos placed 4th in the 100 butterfly with a time of 55.97.

At the 2020 NCAC Championships with Big Red, Palmroos would have had multiple finals performances with Denison. Most notably, she would have placed 5th in the 200 butterfly (2:08.88), 6th in the 100 butterfly (55.74) and 10th in the 100 breaststroke (1:08.48).
