Dartmouth Men Add Eight To Roster for 2020-21 Season

HANOVER, N.H. – Head coach James Holder has announced the addition of eight athletes to the Dartmouth men’s swimming and diving roster as members of the Class of 2024.

Joining the Big Green ahead of the 2020-21 season are Daniel Gallagher, Jake Headrick, Joseph Hurle, Taka Khoo, Jack Kothari, John Laidlaw, Steven Mendley and Jonathan Tang.

Daniel Gallagher
Hometown/High School: Cumming, Georgia / Lambert
Club Team: Dynamo Swim Club
Events: Backstroke, IM
Awards/Accolades: Three-time Scholastic All-America … two-time NISCA All-America … U.S. Open qualifier.

Jake Headrick
Hometown/High School: Mercer Island, Wash. / Mercer Island
Club Team: Bellevue Club Swim Team
Event: Distance freestyle
Awards/Accolades: Three-time Scholastic All-America … NISCA All-America.

Joseph Hurle

Taka Khoo

Awards/Accolades: National Merit finalist … National AP Scholar … Cum Laude … captain … three-time All-America … USA Swimming Futures finalist … sectionals champion.

Jack Kothari

Awards/Accolades: National AP Scholar … two-time Maryland LSC champion … captain … led the men’s squad to the highest Eastern’s Interscholastic Championship finish in a decade … recipient of the Bruce F. Vanderveer ’31 Award (greatest influence on the program).
