Bowling Green Snags CW Swimmer Kellie House and Diver Lindsey Fox

Bowling Green State University women’s swimming and diving team will add a stellar pair to the roster in 2018 with the verbal commitments of swimmer Kellie House and diver Lindsey Fox. They will join Stephanie Schoenlein in the class of 2022.

House is a senior at Brighton High School in Brighton, Michigan. At November’s 2017 MHSAA Division I Girls’ Swimming and Diving Championship, she placed fifth in the 200 free (1:52.26) and eighth in the 500 free (5:05.33), and contributed to Brighton’s runner-up 200 free relay (23.81) and seventh-place 400 free relay (52.87).

House swims year-round for Club Wolverine, where she specializes mainly in mid-distance freestyle. She competed at Columbus Sectionals this summer in the 50 free, 200 free, 400 free, 800 free and 100 fly, and earned new PBs in the 50/400/800 free. This fall she improved her times in the 200/500 free during high school season. Her top SCY times include:

  • 200 free – 1:51.85
  • 500 free – 4:59.77
  • 1000 free – 10:27.37

Lindsey Fox

A senior at Scott High School in Taylor Mill, Kentucky, Fox is the two-time KHSAA defending champion in 1-meter diving. After finishing 5th in the State Meet with 400.00 points as a freshman, she won the event in both her sophomore (413.45 points) and junior (432.10 points) seasons. In addition, Fox played varsity volleyball for Scott High School and competed at the 2016 KHSAA State Volleyball Championship.

Fox is a member of National Honor Society, National German Honor Society, and National Art Honor Society. She was named Cincinnati Sports Enquirer Diver of the Year in 2016 and was 1st Team All-State in both 2016 and 2017.
