Harvard and Princeton Share HYP Title; Remain Undefeated in Ivy League Competition

Yale women’s swimming and diving suffered its first losses of the season at the annual HYP tri-meet, this year held at Harvard’s Blodgett Pool, but that didn’t dampen their spirits. The Bulldogs had many strong swims in preparation for Ivy League Championships, when Eva Fabian will be back in uniform.

Mehdy Metella picked up his second butterfly gold medal in Nice, winning by 1/100 (23.82) over Andriy Govorov in the 50 fly on Saturday.

The Big Red traveled to Colgate on Saturday to battle the Raiders who were celebrating Senior Day. Colgate men overcame their hosts by a score of 204-80, while the women beat Colgate, 173-112.
