Anna Elendt on 58.1 100 Breast: “I was just…. pretending it was a 50”

TEXAS VS. VIRGINIA

Texas breaststroker Anna Elendt posted the #1 time in the country in the women’s 100 breast, touching at 58.14 to top American Olympians Alex Walsh and Lydia Jacoby. The German admitted she wasn’t quite expecting to go that fast, but did say she was trying to think of it as a 50 and then hold on.
