The 2024 European Junior Championships kick off today, July 2nd, from the Lazdynai Pool in Vilnius, Lithuania.
This marks the first continental championship hosted by Lithuania, with more than 600 swimmers stemming from 43 countries set to compete.
This 50th edition of the European Junior Championships features girls aged 14-17 and boys aged 15-18 with hardware and titles on the line.
Heats begin at 9:30am local/2:30am ET and finals begin at 6pm local/11:00am ET on each of the 6 days of racing.

35€ for a stream used mainly by parents and friends of the junior swimmers? Wow, a new low reached, even for European Aquatics.
To seriously call this a test-drive for their new pay-to-view model…
I already dislike the decision to require a fee for the junior championships in general, but the price is also way too high.
I also totally don’t understand why they can’t make live results available on a website like all the times before. Why can I only access the live results on the European Aquatics app or Sportify?
