The Virginia Cavaliers have made a late adjustment to their competition schedule, dropping the “Cavalier Invite” that was slotted for February 13th-14th in exchange for the “Virginia Tech Invitational” a week earlier on February 7th-8th in Christiansburg.

The team will still host its diving invite the same weekend as the newly-scheduled VT Invite.

These invites, held within weeks of the ACC Championships, are typically reserved for swimmers who either won’t swim at the conference championship meet, or to settle the last few spots of said meet. Last season, the Cavalie Invite included participants from Duke, Penn, William & Mary, Drexel, and James Madison.

Virginia Tech has not announced the lineup for their meet this year yet, but last season the meet included teams from Harvard, Arkansas, VMI, UNC-Wilmington, and Johns Hopkins.
