Yotes Load Up with 3 Strong Verbals: Gallagher, Dickinson, Jones

The University of South Dakota picked up three quality verbal commitments last week. The women’s team heard from Maddie Gallagher and Morgan Dickinson, both Minnesota natives; the men’s team received a verbal from Iowa’s Seth Jones.

Madison (Maddie Gallagher)

A sprint freestyler from St. Michael, Minnesota, Gallagher swims for St. Michael Albertville High School and Sea Devils Swim Club. Her top 50 free and 100 free come from Iowa Sectionals during her sophomore year, although she repeated her 100 free PB on-the-button at high school section championships last November.

Morgan Dickinson

Dickinson hails from Blaine, Minnesota and swims for Spring Lake Park High School and FASTjets. She placed 14th in the 100 breast at the 2015 MSHSL Girls AA Swim & Dive Championships and swam the breaststroke leg on Spring Lake Park’s medley relay.

Seth Jones

Jones is primarily a distance freestyler who swims for Lewis Central High School and Council Bluffs Swim Club in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He finished eighth in the 500 free at the 2015 IHSAA State Swimming Meet during his junior season. He also placed 20th in the 200 free and contributed to Lewis Central’s 16th-place 200 medley and 400 free relays.
