Watch: Former World Champion Katy Sexton On ‘The Performance Kitchen’

Two-time Olympian and former World Champion Katy Sexton, MBE of Great Britain recently appeared on the television show ‘The Performance Kitchen’, which features some of Europe’s best athletes each week cooking some of their favorite pre or post-competition or training meals.

Sexton cooked a ‘chicken pasta bake’, which she eats after swimming workouts to recover. Watch below:

Sexton became the first British swimmer in history to win a World Championship title after winning the women’s 200 back in 2003 in Barcelona. Her two Olympic appearances came in 2000 and 2004, with Sexton finishing in a tie for 10th in the 100 back in Sydney and 7th in the 200m event in Athens.

Along with her two Olympic appearances, Sexton also represented Great Britain in four World Championships and in three Commonwealth Games. She won a silver in the 100 back at the 2003 World Championships to go along with her gold in the 200, and has an additional three European Championship medals and two Commonwealth Games medals.

In 2004 she received the MBE (Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) for her services to swimming in the 2004 New Year Honours List.
