High school senior Logan Pack from Katy, Texas, has committed to swim and study at Dartmouth College in the class of 2027. He will head to Hanover, New Hampshire next fall with future teammates Ian Stewart, Andy Peterson, Tommy Erwin, David Ji, and William McClelland.
Pack is a senior at Taylor High School in Katy; he swims year-round with the club team Katy Aquatics. He wrapped up his prep career in February at the Texas UIL 6A State Swimming and Diving Championships, where he was runner-up in the 100 back (48.06) and placed sixth in the 50 free (20.38). Both times were personal bests, although he lowered his 50 free time to 20.30 three weeks later at Speedo Southern Premier. There, he came in fifth in the 50 free (20.30), fourth in the 100 free (44.87), 11th in the 200 free (1:40.37), sixth in the 100 back (49.48), 30th in the 100 breast (58.81), and sixth in the 100 fly (49.25). All but his 100 back and 100 breast were PBs.
Pack is a Summer Juniors qualifier in the 50 free and 100 back, a Winter Juniors qualifier in the 100 free, and a Futures qualifier in the 200 free, 100 breast, and 100 fly. His best SCY times include:
- 100 back – 48.06
- 50 free – 20.30
- 100 free – 44.87
- 200 free – 1:40.37
- 100 fly – 49.25
- 100 breast – 58.58
Pack’s best times would have led the Big Green in the 50/100 free and 100 back in 2022-23. He would have scored in the B final of the 100 back and the C finals of the 50 free and 100 free.
